Higher Education

The higher education centre in RRGC started its activity in 2008 under the management of Ms Sanee.

Objectives:

The center’s activities can be classified into three categories:

• Short term courses including 1-2 day workshops about variety of topics including marriage workshops, anger management, improving self esteem and confidence methods

• Medium term courses that are mainly single module courses run with the contribution from the National Industrial Management Organization. The courses that are currently offered by RRGC together with the National Industrial Management Organization are in areas of Accounting , Management, Administration , Business and Finance and IT. Candidates will receive a certificate of course completion in less than a month after the end of each course.

• Long term courses that are offering a degree upon successful completion of the course. This is an ongoing effort and we are in the negotiation phase with  corresponding bodies.

Ongoing efforts and plans:

• Negotiation with the Ministry of Energy and the institute of New Energy Sources to design a new degree suitable for disable people with a potential job market.
• To form a group of lecturers and senior experts from the institute of New Energy Sources, the National Industrial Management Organization and the management board of the RRGC.
• To run advance English and IT courses for disabled people and other candidates
• To obtain necessary certificate and permissions to run other degree based courses
• To design and implement a virtual learning environment
